Caleb Chancey

Caleb T. Chancey is an attorney with Haygood, Cleveland, Pierce, Thompson & Short in Auburn, Alabama. A native of Phenix City, Alabama, Caleb graduated from Smiths Station High School before attending Auburn University, where he earned his degree in Political Science. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in May 2023.

In 2025, Caleb joined Haygood, Cleveland, Pierce, Thompson & Short. He focuses on a wide variety of matters, including family law, civil litigation, criminal defense, and probate. He represents clients across East Alabama in divorce and custody cases, estate administration and will contests, as well as disputes involving both individuals and businesses. His practice also includes defending clients in criminal cases and protecting their rights throughout the legal process.

Outside of his legal practice, Caleb remains connected to his community and enjoys supporting Auburn athletics, staying active in local events, and spending time with family and friends.
